Monday: Quebec Charter, Yosemite Fires, Syria Update and more.

Part 1

Quebec Charter. A clash of symbols. The drumroll continues before the introduction of what Quebec is referring to as a "secular charter" -- and we'll try to get our heads around the proposed ban on religious headgear.

Yosemite Fires. Corinna Loh is one of hundreds of Californians coping with the aftermath of an enormous wildfire -- one that reduced most of her ranch to wasteland.

Part 2

Syria:Russia. Russia says the U.S. needs to dial down talk of military intervention in Syria -- because there's no actual proof the regime used chemical weapons.

Verizon: Fraser Institue. There's much hand-wringing from Canada's wireless providers about the possible arrival of a big American competitor -- but the Fraser Institute says the more foreign telecoms, the merrier.
