* Football Playing Girl. 12-year old Madison Baxter, fights back after she's sacked from her school's football team by an administrator who fears that her presence could prompt the boys on the team to have impure thoughts. We speak with Madison Baxter and her mother Cassy Blythe from Georgia.
 * Australia Politics.  Labour leader Kevin Rudd may have replaced Julia Gillard as PM, but much of the cabinet now refuses to serve under him. We hear about the political goings on from Reuters parliamentary correspondent, James Grubel.

Part Two:

* Michael Palin. After being honoured by the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, Monty Python's Michael Palin drops by the As It Happens studio for a chat.
* Oscar Peterson Star. We pay tribute to piano great, Oscar Peterson, after he finally gets a star on Canada's Walk of Fame.
