IRAQ BOMBINGS. Violence erupts on the streets of Baghdad, some of the worst violence in the country since American troops pulled out a week ago. We hear from Jane Arraf, a reporter with Al-Jazeera English.

PECAN THEFT. Nutty thefts in Georgia. The state's 2011 pecan crops are thousands of pounds lighter than ever before thanks to pecan robbers who are making a pretty penny on the hot merchandise.

BURMA - CANADIAN FRIENDS OF BURMA.The Burmese Spring? Burma appears to be loosening military control. Tin Maungh Too, director of the Canadian Friends of Burma, says now is the time for the international community to lean on Burma's government to live up to promised changes.
