A 'Killer Bee' is an Africanized Honey Bee.  The creature is the result of more than 40 years of experiments, aimed at creating a faster and more prolific honey producer. What reserachers did succeed in creating was a far more aggressive bee that would rapidly attack anything the bees felt to be a threat to their hive and queen.

This year in Arizona, there have been dozens of attacks, in which victims have been chased down and stung by angry swarms.

Chris Brinton runs the company Bee Bustin', which is a a hive removal company in Tucson, Arizona. He deals with Africanized Bees, and is stung, daily.

Among other information he has for anyone encountering an attack swarm: run away.
