As part of the Asian Heritage Month Festival put on by Asian Heritage Month-Canadian Foundation for Asian Culture (Central Ontario) Inc., Reel Asian is teaming up with York University to co-present the first Reel Asian Spring Showcase. This three-day event, sponsored by the Department of Canadian Heritage, offers a weekend of free screenings, all hosted by York University at their on-campus venues. In addition to re-engaging the vibrant filmmaking communities at York, this event is part of Reel Asian's ongoing commitment to reach out to audiences outside of the downtown core.
