Internationally acclaimed pipa and guzheng virtuoso, Liu Fang, gave her first public solo performance at age nine and played for Queen Elizabeth in 1985. This Shanghai Conservatory of Music graduate is described as being "one of the greatest virtuosos," "the empress of pipa" (L'actualité, 2001). Presented by the OAHMS.
