"My work originates in autobiographical sources, however, its visceral play of the bodily absence and presence can hardly be isolated from the larger context of its production. Rooted in the familiar - clothing and furniture - this sculpture is close to the body, inherently personal in its connotations and scale."

Born in Middleton, Nova Scotia, and has lived in several provinces, settling in New Brunswick in the late sixties.

Education:
Creative Writing with Kent Thompson, University of New Brunswick
Apprenticed painting and sculpting with Rosemary Cross
