Weaving has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
My mother has been a big influence in my life as to the different
techniques and styles of baskets. It is my intention to both preserve
the art and form of the traditional techniques of Mi'kmaq basketry,
yet continue to create new forms which will allow me to highlight
traditional heritage."
