Viewfinders International Film Festival for Youth kicks off on Sun. April 15th

The Viewfinders International Film Festival for Youth opens on Sun. April 15th with the award-winning documentary " Undefeated ".
The Green Screen Gala is on Thurs. April 19th and that will feature Disney Nature's adventure film " Chimpanzee ".
The other highlight is the Viewfinders Productions Gala on Fri. April 20th.
It will offer films by young people who have been mentored by professionals in the film industry.

Sunday concert features McMillan music and film

Nova Scotia composer Scott McMillan is offering an evening at Saint Patrick's Church in Halifax that features a documentary about the sinking of a navy ship commanded by his father, a piece of music about Sable Island and the unusual performance art of Holly Carr who will unveil her painting of Sable Island on silk.
