Prison Break actor charged in fatal car crash

Prison Break actor Lane Garrison was charged in Beverly Hills, Calif., Thursday with manslaughter and drunken driving in connection with a fatal car crash.
Garrison, 26, was charged with felony vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, felony driving under the influence causing injury to multiple victims, felony driving with a blood-alcohol level above the .08 per cent legal limit causing injury, and a misdemeanour count of furnishing alcohol to a minor.

The actor, who plays David (Tweener) Apolskis on Prison Break, was behind the wheel of a Land Rover that jumped a curb and struck a tree on Dec. 2.
Beverly Hills High School student Vahaghn Setian, 17, died in the crash and two 15-year-old girls were injured.
Prosecutors said they will recommend Garrison be held on bail of $200,000 US.
Garrison was expected to surrender Thursday afternoon for arraignment at Beverly Hills Superior Court.
