Juno, No Country up for Producers Guild award

Jason Reitman's Juno will compete with crime story No Country for Old Men and historical epic There Will Be Blood for the best film award from the Producers Guild of America.
The PGAs top five contenders for 2007 are rounded out by The Diving Bell and the Butterfly and Michael Clayton.
Juno, with Ellen Page as a pregnant teen and Michael Cera as her boyfriend, earned a best film nomination from the Producers Guild of America.

The association withheld the names of the producers associated with the films until it has determined who qualifies for credit in each film.
Award shows have been plagued with squabbles over production credits since they attempted to limit the numbers of people eligible for each film.
Canadian film Juno, about a pregnant teen played by Ellen Page, was produced by Fox Searchlight, considered a specialty division of U.S. production house Fox.
Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, shot in Alberta, won a nomination for best long-form television from the PGA.
It will compete with The Bronx Is Burning, High School Musical 2, Jane Eyre and The Starter Wife.
Dreamworks' Bee Movie, Pixar/Disney's Ratatouille and Fox's The Simpsons Movie earned nominations for best animated production.
Michael Moore's exploration of health care, Sicko, will vie with Iraq War tale Body of War for the documentary award.
Also nominated are Hear and Now, Pete Seeger: The Power of Song and White Light/Black Rain: The Destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
In television, Ugly Betty, 30 Rock, The Office, Entourage and Extras are competing for best comedy.
Other nominations:
- Best TV drama: Dexter, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, House, Lost, The Sopranos.
- Non-fiction television: Deadliest Catch, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, Planet Earth, 60 Minutes.
- TV live entertainment-competition: The Amazing Race, American Idol, The Colbert Report, Project Runway, Real Time with Bill Maher.
The awards will be presented Feb. 2 in Los Angeles.
