Zal Yanovsky makes quick work of latkes on After Dark

The Story

Zal Yanovsky, who enjoyed fame as a member of the 1960s group The Lovin' Spoonful, is now a restaurant owner in Kingston, Ont.  With the help of host Paul Soles and the other After Dark guests, Elwy Yost and Don Arioli, Yanovsky hurries his way through a batch of potato latkes.  He manages to fry up and serve one overly-large latke -- "That's two dollars!" -- and get in a plug for his new restaurant.
