Documentary filmmaker Avi Lewis

Avi Lewis has joined forces with his wife, activist and No Logo author Naomi Klein to produce The Take, a film chronicling a peaceful Argentinian movement by workers to take over abandoned factories and run them cooperatively on a small scale. In the wake of Argentina's economic collapse of 2001, these small, defiant projects turned around the fortunes of the workers whose lives had been devastated by the factory closures. In conversation with Anna Maria Tremonti in this 2005 radio clip, Lewis shows himself to be passionate and articulate.
