In 2003, after 25 years as a broadcast journalist in southern Canada, Sandi decided the busy life was just too busy, so she headed North and found the allure of the Yukon, its people and their stories so compelling she decided to stay.

Sandi's award winning career has found her behind the microphones of radio and television for CBC, CTV and the W network.
Sandi's held roles as a reporter, writer, host, producer, agriculture commentator, sports anchor (against her better judgment) and weather specialist.
Aside from the cruelty of the bathroom mirror at 3:30 a.m., Sandi loves being there to provide the latest information and a morning smile for Yukoners as they start their "new day". The rest of her day is spent with her husband, teenage daughter and two Corgis, enjoying life in the North.
