Yukon student observes international science fair in Arizona

Each year, Yukon students put on their thinking caps and come up with challenging science fair projects. The winners of the Yukon-Stikine region then head to the Canada-wide Science Fair.  And everyone once in a while, someone makes it beyond our borders.  That's the case for Jacob Newkirk.  The grade 8 student from Whitehorse is in Phoenix at the International Science and Engineering Fair.  He was invited as an observer for his silver medal entry at last year's national event called Mythbusting Mouthguards.  Click below to hear his conversation with Roch Shannon Fraser.
