Codeine Abuse Problem In The Territory.

A recent study in Alberta has shown that province dispenses the highest rate of codeine in the country.

But here in the Yukon, there is a void when it comes information on codeine use - or use of any medication, for that matter. That's because the territory does not yet have a computerized system to track prescriptions.

And that worries Dr. Rao Tadepalli, president of the Yukon Medical Association. He wants to know why the Yukon government hasn't delivered such a system. Dr. Tadepalli spoke to the CBC's Nancy Thomson....
