Encouraging Fly-in Workers to Settle Down
The Yukon Government wants help attracting more people to the territory.
The recent economic boom has produced thousands of new jobs, and boosted population levels to a record 35 thousand residents. Still, the Yukon work force is shored up by hundreds of fly-in, fly-out workers outside the territory. The government wants to know what's keeping workers from wanting to move to the Yukon. It's looking for someone to do the research.
