The Loss Of An Iconic Yukon Landmark...

A well known Yukon landmark was destroyed by fire over the weekend. The Klondike River lodge was located at the Dempster turnoff, about 40 kilometers south of Dawson City. It burned to the ground Sunday morning. Volunteers from the Klondike Valley fire station and Dawson firefighters responded to the call.
