Disagreement Between Government and the Yukon Medical Association Over Care Model

The head of the Yukon Medical Association told CBC this week he was unaware the Dawson City hospital would be an acute care facility.

Now Dr. Rao Tadepalli also hedged a bit saying different levels of acute care can exist.

But then the MLA for the Klondike told us the community does not even want an acute care facility.

The discussion left us wondering exactly what Yukoners can expect when its two new hospitals open next year.
