Taylor Back From AWG Meetings in Fairbanks

News that six sports would be dropped from the 2016 Arctic Winter Games did not go overwell with sport governing bodies and teams here in the Yukon.

Last September, the game's International Committee announced speed skating, figure skating, curling, gymnastics, midget hockey and dog mushing couldn't be accommodated due to a lack of facilities.

This week northern sport ministers and officials met in Fairbanks to plead their case to the Committee.
