Youth Achievement Results... behind the numbers
Early this week, CBC Yukon began looking into a tip we recieved in the newsroom. Apparently, 64 per cent of Grade 9 students had failed the standardize Yukon Achievement Test for English.

Yesterday, the department of education agreed to release its figures in advance of the upcoming sitting of the legislature. Judith Arnold is the department's director of student achievement.
