Young people learn how to PARTY
The Yukon Liquor Corporation has stepped up with a three year funding agreement for the Party Program.
It educates high school students on the consequences of risky behaviour.
The corporation's minister Scott Kent has announced 180-thousand dollars over the three years of the agreement.
To mark the event Whitehorse media were invited yesterday to see the program first hand.
A group of Grade 9 students from Vanier High heard from paramedics, police and nurses about the injuries and deaths they deal with as a result of risky behaviour.
