First Steps Toward A First Nation School

From residential school to building schools, Lulla Sierra Johns has come a long way. Johns is a member of the White River First Nation and originally from Beaver Creek. She now lives in Vancouver because that's where her grown children live. That's where she was hired by the Vancouver School Board to co-chair the steering committee, setting up the city's first First Nation school.
