Where does the Yukon Party stand on the Peel River Watershed Final Plan?
For some voters, the question of what to do in the Peel watershed is signficant. Some people want a lot of protection for the 67-thousand square kilometre area in the central and northern Yukon. Others want the area open for development.
The Peel Watershed Commission released its final report in July, recommending 80 percent of the area be protected -- 55 percent permanently protected.
