Victim recovering, but no arrest yet in Thunder Bay's Cameron Street assault case

Police in Thunder Bay, Ont., say a 35-year-old man is recovering after he suffered "life threatening injuries," in a reported assault on Monday.

According to police, officers were called to a home in the 200 block of Cameron Street around 4:30 p.m., with reports of an injured man. He was subsequently taken to hospital, police said, adding that the matter is still under investigation.

No arrests were made as of Tuesday afternoon, but the incident is still being probed by the criminal investigations branch, police said in a written release.
