Fête du croissant

croissants finished.jpg
We're celebrating that flaky, delicate and decadent pastry today. It's the Fête du Croissant

From Granby to Laval, selected bakeries are featuring their croissants at a reduced price, some offered at 2 for the price of one.

Pastry chef Franck Dury-Pavet at Fous Desserts pastry shop and café created the Fête du croissant. Their croissant was named the best in Montreal by LaPresse in 2011. Sonali Karnick met with pastry chef Arianne Forêt-Langlois at Fous Desserts about just what makes that crescent-shaped puff pastry so delicious and popular.
