Christine Tizzard: Spring into the kitchen
Spring is in the air...or it will be soon. There are plenty of things to do around the house to repair or clean up after the snow melts but it's also an exciting time to be in the kitchen.
With fresh local ingredients starting to become available, such as rhubarb and lamb, you don't have to wait for summer to delve into a yummy spring dish. Christine Tizzard is a chef and the host of Best Recipes Ever on C-B-C television, Canada's most-watched daily food show. She spoke with Sonali Karnick about seasonal ingredients making their way into markets and what to make with them.
