Appetite for books: CBC Books cookbook contest
The BBQ grills are hot, the summer strawberries are early, and there's lots of other fresh food on its way, ready for summer salads and meals al fresco.
It's also time for the annual Cross-country Bookshelf challenge from CBC Books.
This year the focus just happens to be books about food.
Across the country, people will be voting on the best cookbooks from their province. They'll do it for the love of food - and also, maybe, for a prize!
To help us put together a top five list for Quebec, we've invited in someone who knows what's fresh on the bookshelves, as well as at the market.
