Le Demantelement Arcand.jpg
In the new Quebec film, "Le Démantèlement", a father sells him farm in order to help his daughter. In the process, he is dismantling the only life he has ever known.

The film is set in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region and actor Gabriel Arcand went to great lengths to prepare for his role as the sheep-farmer father.  He spent weeks living with sheep farmers and learning the lay of the land.

The actor is best-known for his roles in classic Quebec films like "Le Crime d'Ovide Plouffe" and "Le déclin de l'empire américain". He spoke with All In A Weekend about leaving behind his city life to learn how to play this role.
