Skating outdoors with François-Louis Tremblay

Refrigerated skating path in Parc Jean Drapeau (by Gilles Proulx).jpgLace up your skates!  Parc-Jean-Drapeau in Montreal unveils its refrigerated skating path this weekend at the Fete-Des-Neiges.

But if you're going there today and plan on skating on the path, you may need to catch up with our next guest. Former short-track speed skater François-Louis Tremblay will be on the path!

The Hester family inspires community

1451446_10151903715128612_306532064_n(1).JPGToday on All in a Weekend, we met a family that's particularly devoted to hockey. The Hesters live in the Cree community of Waskaganish, in Northern Quebec. There are eight boys in the Hester family, and their success on the ice has inspired the Cree Nation to think big when it comes to hockey dreams.

CBC North's Betsy Longchap went up to Waskaganish recently, listen back to her report.
