Dr.Mike Evans: Concussions

mike evans landscape 240 pixels.jpgMore than a year after being sidelined by a concussion, Sidney Crosby has once again been cleared for contact. He could be suiting up for the Pittsburgh Penguins in a matter of days.  Crosby's concussion saga has drawn a lot of attention to how serious and long-lasting the effects of a concussion can be. But even though there's heightened awareness, there's still a whole lot of confusion.

Our house doctor, Mike Evans, wants to clear up some of that confusion.  Mike brings more than a medical perspective to the debate.  He's also the father of three kids who play high-level sports, and a medical trainer for two of his kids' hockey teams. Dr.Mike spoke with Sonali Karnick.
