The Mile End Cookbook

The Mile End Delicatessen and the Mile End Sandwich shop have been on all kinds of Top 10 lists in the past couple of years. But they're not in the trendy Montreal Mile-End neighborhood. They're in New York City and Brooklyn.

The Delicatessen and Sandwich Shop serve classic Jewish comfort food but also updated and recreated dishes.
Everything is cured, smoked and pickled in-house - though they do ship in the bagels from the St-Viateur bakery in Montreal's Mile End!
