Deni Béchard's "Cures for Hunger"
Deni Béchard's first novel, Vandal Love, won the 2007 Commmonwealth Writers' Prize for best first book.
His new book is a memoir.
In Cures for Hunger, he tells the story of the discovery of his adored father's secret lives - the unknown family in the Gaspé, the armed robberies and prison time. It's also the story of his own quest to find himself.
Deni Béchard spoke with Sonali Karnick in the All in a Weekend studio.
