Jours pour la paix
Les Jours pour la paix starts today. The week-long cultural and artistic event is organized by the Communauté sépharade unifiée du Québec. This year, events include a Jewish French-book fair, seminars on topics ranging from cartooning to inter-faith dialogue to human rights.
As well as some film, music and comedy.
Khalil Abu Arafeh is a Palestinian cartoonist who has flown in to be part of the Cartooning for Peace event today. He is is a co-founding member of the Paris-based Cartooning for Peace Project. Neev Belsimon is a comedian and he'll be performing Saturday night at the Segal Centre as part of Les Jours pour la paix.
