Canadian Black comedians go beyond race in "The Underground Comedy Railroad"

The history of Thumbnail image for Main-Darkshot2-Edited.jpgthe Underground Railroad is not something to make light of, usually. That network of safe houses and secret routes brought slaves to Canada, and freedom, in the 19th century.

But the comedians with the Underground Comedy Railroad want you to bust a gut. They say it's the first group tour of black Canadian stand-up comics. The tour kicks off Sunday night in Montreal and performer Andrew Searles dropped by All In A Weekend before the big show.
