Moose Lodge in Fermont, Quebec
This time of year always reminds us to be generous with others. But there are everyday acts of generosity across the province. The CBC's Marika Wheeler recently made a trip to the booming mining town of Fermont, near the Labrador border. She dropped by one of the places that does a lot of charitable work there. It's called 'the Moose" in town. It's formal name is the Moose Lodge.
Marika Wheeler sat down with Jean-Pierre Marcotte. He's been involved at the Moose for about a decade. And he told Marika about what the organization does for the community.
