Daniel Lavoie gives his old hits new life
After forty years and 22 albums, singer/songwriter Daniel Lavoie had to whittle his career down to just 11 songs. In his new collection, "J'écoute la radio", Lavoie re-recorded some of his favorite songs with some of his favorite artists and also adds new music to his repertoire. He's been at the top of the charts in the Francophone world with hits such as "Qui Sait" and "Jours de plaine" but now they have a different sound for the Manitoba native.
Daniel Lavoie spoke to Sonali Karnick about his new CD and his new perspective.
