Endre Farkas honoured by the Quebec Writers Federation

On Tuesday night, the Quebec Writers' Federation will be awarding its annual Community Award to Endre Farkas.

Endre Farkas is a veteran poet, playwright and teacher. He's also a founding editor of Véhicule Press in Montreal. And he helped to start up two other English writers' organizations - including QSPELL, a forerunner of the QWF which is giving him his award! Endre's worked at getting poetry to the people any way he can, from a new online poetry magazine to getting poems on the sides of 800 Montreal buses.
