Carrément Rose captures the hearts of students at Collège Regina Assumpta
Some lessons go way beyond the classroom. Students at Collège Regina Assumpta in Ahuntsic are part of a year-long project called Carrément Rose, an awareness and fundrasing campaign for breast cancer. One of the projects was a photography assignment called Portrait Rose.
Students took pictures of people affected by breast cancer using the color pink. Those photos are up for auction today at Etienne-Desmarteau arena during a Canadian Women's Hockey league game between Montreal and Boston.
Nicolas Teolis is in secondary three at Regina Assumpta and has a special photo up for auction on Saturday.
