| Adrian Harewood
Adrian Harewood is the host of Ottawa's favourite afternoon
program All In A Day.
Adrian attended elementary and high school at Ashbury
College, and was involved in community radio at CKCU (Carleton
University) and CHUO (University of Ottawa) in the mid-90s.
The Ottawa-born Harewood's passion for radio continued
when he moved to Montreal. He was station manager of campus/community
radio station CKUT - Radio McGill - after studying Political
Theory and History at McGill University.
For ten years, Adrian was a Toronto-based writer and
broadcaster. He has hosted many national programs on CBC
Radio and CBC Television including As it Happens, Sounds
Like Canada, The Current and counterSpin, as well as Toronto
shows Metro Morning, Ontario Morning, and Here and Now.
He was also the host of The Actors, The Directors and
Literati as seen on BRAVO and PBS.
Adrian has a keen interest in community involvement,
volunteering his time in both Montreal and Toronto. He
is a past Board Member of Central Neighbourhood House
in Toronto, and was on the Board of Head and Hands, helping
to provide youth services in Montreal. Adrian was also
a Youth Program Worker providing counseling for at-risk
students in six Toronto high schools.
All In A Day is heard weekday afternoons from
3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on CBC Radio One (91.5 in Ottawa).
