Political panel, May 24: The senate scandal that keeps on giving

If you're the Prime Minister, the weekend couldn't have come faster. Earlier this week Stephen Harper's first speech addressing the senate spending scandal wasn't exactly what people were demanding...A couple of days later, his tone seemed to change, when he answered questions from reporters, including why he waited 5 days before accepting the resignation of his Chief of Staff, Nigel Wright... Then yesterday, reporters finally caught up wth the man at the centre of the controversy, Senator Mike Duffy, who brushed off attempts to get him to explain the whole $90,000 gift of repayment thing. With a look at where all of this leaves us heading into the weekend, as well as other happenings in the world of federal politics, we were joined by our political panel.
