All in a Day's gift guide #1: The minimalist

giftphoto.jpgYou all have one: that person on your gift list that's just a little bit of a pain to buy for. Maybe their tastes are a little inscutable, their likes and dislikes a little obscure...Well, we're here to help you out. This week we'll be offering up suggestions from experts on a variety of gift-recipient "types", as suggested by you.

First up: "Alexandra" wrote to us about her husband, saying, "He is an academic, a thinker, a reader, a student of Zen...so does a lot of serious meditation. He is really a minimalist...What does one get a minimalist for Christmas? And please don't say nothing."

We're here to help...For some ideas, we rounded up minimalist blogger Marco Laberge, Planet Botanix owner Heather Garrod, and philosophy professor Nils-Frederic Wagner.

P.S. Some of the apps Heather mentions in this interview are here, here and here.
