Celebrating the 'b' in LGBTQ

prideflag.jpgAcross the city today, rainbow flags have been going up for Pride Week. The mission of the annual festival is to perpetuate the spirit of pride in the LGBTQ community. And this year, some of the events have a special focus on the "b," for bisexual.

Tova Larsen is bisexual, and the facilitator of a discussion group called BiAmore at Pink Triangle Services. Tonight's meeting at 7 is about creating space for "bi" people in the Pride movement.Tova's also the organizer of a Pride event this Thursday called "Bi's and Beers". Larsen joined us with some thoughts on why sometimes, bisexuals have struggled to find a place among both straight and gay folks alike.
