Fringefest panel #1: Ottawa expats

cupidity.jpg16 venues. 60 shows. And more than 400 performances. There are too many shows for us to highlight at this year's Ottawa Fringe Festival, but we're hoping to showcase as many as we can over the next week. So we've decided to group shows by theme.

 

To kick off our Fringe Fest coverage...this week's theme: Ottawa expats. We've chosen two performances where the playwrights are both from Ottawa but have since left this city -- and are back to perform in their hometown. And it turns out -- that's not the only things they have in common...

 

Morgan Johnson is the playwright and performer behind High Tide, and Jessica Fitzpatrick is the playwright and performer of Cupidity.
