Election Lottery - Ottawa-Vanier

This week we kicked off our Election Lottery by drawing the name of our first candidate, who's running for the NDP in Ottawa-Vanier. Herve Ngamby joined us on Thursday to discuss our first Big Issue: public sector cuts. We also spoke with his competitors in the riding, Madeleine Meilleur of the Liberals and Martin Forget of the Progressive Conservatives. You can listen to those interviews by clicking on the links in this post.

We're playing Election Lottery again next week, when we draw a new name on Monday. We'll also be drawing a new Big Issue. What would you like it to be? Send us your ideas to throw in the hat.

To encourage thoughtful and respectful conversations, first and last names will appear with each submission to CBC/Radio-Canada's online communities (except in children and youth-oriented communities). Pseudonyms will no longer be permitted.
