Election Lottery!

Next week, All In A Day is kicking off the first round of our Election Lottery. And we want your help!

Here's how it works: each week before the Ontario election, we'll draw at random the name of a local candidate from one of the three major parties. Then we'll dip into another hat for a Big Issue - anything from the deficit to child care to job creation. We'll put it all together on the air, by inviting the chosen candidate for an interview on that topic later in the week.  And we'll give his or her rivals from the other two major parties a chance to comment as well by week's end.

So where do you come in? We want you to help us decide what Big Issues belong on the air with the candidates. What issue will decide your vote this election? And if the candidates aren't talking about it, tell us why you think they should! Write us here with your ideas. And tune in to the show on Tuesday May 20th just after 3 for our first draw.

We also welcome your riding-specific questions for the candidates we're interviewing. Here's a list of the ridings competing in the Election Lottery:

Ottawa Centre
Ottawa-Vanier
Ottawa-Orleans
Ottawa West-Nepean
Ottawa South
Nepean-Carleton
Carleton-Mississippi Mills
Glengarry-Prescott-Russell
