An Inuit celebration of spring

Spring Equinox Poster-page-001.jpgBelieve it or not, today is the first day of spring -- astronomical spring, anyway -- and Ottawa's Inuit community is getting ready to celebrate with a feast Friday night at Rideau High School.
Charlotte Qamaniq is a cultural worker with Tungasuvvingat Inuit, and Laakkuluk Williamson is the MC for the event, and one of several artists who have flown in from the north to entertain the participants. They both joined us for a preview of the festitivies.
