Remembering Mohamoud Hersi Abdulle

memorial flyer (email)-page-001.jpgMembers of Ottawa's Somali community organized a memorial for Mohamoud Hersi Abdulle that takes place today (Friday) at 5 p.m. at Ridgemont High School. The Ottawa father died after a suicide bomb attack at the Presidential Palace in Somalia last week. He leaves behind six children and his wife. Longtime friend and colleague Wali Farah told Alan Neal all about Abdulle's legacy in Ottawa.

If you'd like to donate to the trust fund for Abdulle's family, the branch of the TD bank at 2470 Bank St is accepting funds to account number 65551888.
