Ottawa curler Dawn McEwen plays lead for Jennifer Jones' rink. Team Canada beat Sweden 6-3. It's the first time since 1998 that Canadian women curlers have reached the top of the Olympic podium. They did so, while going undefeated throughout the tournament.

Alan tracked down Dawn's husband, Mike McEwen, at the Canada Olympic House in Sochi not long after the big win.
