Local teen writes his own musical about bullying

bullying musical.jpgThat photo there is local teens Elliot Wehlre, Byron Chan, Sam Turgeon-Brabazon and Paige Cheverie-Sulley, rehearsing a high school musical. It's not your typical musical fare -- it deals with some heavy, mature themes like bullying and contemplation of suicide. And it's the project of Wehlre, who wrote the play and all the songs. The CBC's Kate Porter visited him in rehearsal.
